The victim of a horrific acid attack said it felt like his whole body was burning and he was in so much pain he wanted to die.
Awais Akram, 25, said "his whole body started to burn" after a noxious liquid was poured over his head and body.
Mr Akram suffered 47% burns and was left disfigured by the attack in Leytonstone, east London, in July 2009.
Mohammed Vakas, 26, of Walthamstow, north-east London, was found guilty of conspiracy to murder at the Old Bailey.
Vakas's cousin Mohammed Adeel, 20, of Walthamstow, and a boy, aged 17, were both convicted of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.
Meanwhile, police said they feared for the welfare of the married woman at the centre of the case, who has disappeared in Pakistan.

Five UK residents were jailed on Friday over a conspiracy to launder money using iTunes gift vouchers.
The gang used stolen credit card details to buy vouchers which they sold at a discount via eBay and other auction sites.
Suhail Tufail, 35, of Rochdale, Lancashire, masterminded the scheme which was estimated to have involved £750,000 worth of fraudulently purchased vouchers and an estimated 7,000 compromised credit and debit cards. The unemployed crook was jailed for five years on Friday at Manchester Crown Court after pleading guilty to conspiracy to defraud and to money laundering offences.
Mohammed Arfan Rasool, 25, was also jailed for five years, while Raja Zahid Iqbal, 28, was sent down for two years and five months. Kibriya Ahmad, 25, was jailed for two years after pleading guilty to similar fraud and money laundering offences over the same scam.

Prosecutors have filed a first degree murder charge and soliciting for murder in the first degree charge against Mohammed Aziz. Prosecutors said Aziz hired Terrico Bethel to kill Sweeney.
Sweeney was shot on September 4th, 2008 at Retail Fuels Marketing.
According to court documents, a witness was approached by Aziz and asked if he could have someone "hurt" a "gas man" about a month prior to the murder of Sweeney. The witness said he received a call from Aziz informing him that the "gas man" he wanted killed was at his store at 2605 N. Cincinnati Ave. The witness said he sent Fred shields to the store to get a look at the individual Aziz wanted killed. Documents show that Shields said it would cost $10,000 for the murder.
Court documents show that money may have been at the center of the shooting.
Sweeney's company filed a lawsuit against Aziz and three other people in 2008. A judge ruled in Sweeney's favor two months before his death.
The default judgment meant Aziz owed Sweeney more than a quarter-million dollars.

However, after the alarm which scared away the girl’s attacker, Saani pounced on the teenager and forcibly had another bout of sex with her.
Police have described the crime, committed in a school in Kpehe, as rather bizarre.
